'Bull Sacrifice'

Digital

note: I have been reading several different stories and mythologies regarding the Celts. One of the subjects discussed is sacrifice, specifically sacrificing bulls. Often this was done during times of crisis or extreme change, like when a new chieftain or king was to be chosen. A druid would sacrifice a bull and he or another man trusted by the community would eat the flesh of the bull and sleep in the skin overnight. This individual would then dream of the solution to the problem or of the individual that was to be the next leader. If he lied he would die the following day. I wanted to try a subject with a more violent theme, & this depiction of a bull sacrifice is not historically accurate.
